
Early Childhood Educators
We are looking for Early Childhood Educators to join our growing Learning and Innovation Department. ECEs lead before and/or after school care and work collaboratively with the kindergarten teacher to facilitate the seamless day for kindergarten and primary students. The wage is $32.76 - 33.01 per hour.
The successful applicant must have an Early Childhood Education certificate (or evidence of significant coursework), have a valid BC Early Childhood Educator License to Practice (or expectation of receiving license within 6-12 months), a minimum of 3 years' experience as an ECE in a licensed setting including experience working with children from birth to age 5 and experience in an after-school care program, and a valid Childsafe first aid certificate. Knowledge of the Ministry of Education and Child Care's Early Learning Framework and experience in creating, organizing, planning and budgeting for an early learning program would be considered assets.
