Audio Visual Technician II

Richmond School District operates 38 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, alternate programs, continuing education and a number of additional facilities.  The district enrolls approximately 21,000 students (K-12) and employs over 3000 dedicated staff. 

This position provides technical services, recommendations and expertise for AV related work throughout the district. The work of this position is distinguished from that of the AV Technician by the increased responsibility of planning and leading various AV related projects, as well as developing standards and procedures for district AV systems. This position will also be responsible for the analysis and resolutions of AV related technical issues. This position operates under the supervision of the Manager of Networking, Communications and Security, but work is performed independently with minimal direction received.

This position is in the bargaining unit, with an hourly rate of $35.79 pay at 40 hours/week. The successful candidate will gain access to a benefit package of medical, extended health, dental and a pension plan.
