School District 46 is welcoming applications for a part-time (0.4 F.T.E.) Grade 6/7 teacher, effective immediately to June 30, 2023 or the return of the incumbent, whichever occurs first. This 2 day/week position (Thursday/Friday) is located at Halfmoon Bay Elementary.

The successful applicant will be welcome to join the district's TOC list at the end of the contract or to post into positions for the 2023-2024 school year. TOC work may also be available outside of the scheduled days of the assignment.

Halfmoon Bay Elementary School is a vibrant learning community with over 205 students in Kindergarten to Grade 7. The school is set in the natural beauty of the West Coast, surrounded by forest, hiking/biking trails, parks and crown land filled with wildlife.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have training and experience teaching the subjects and levels noted above. Also, evidence of the successful application of instructional and professional skills (as per Article E.27.3 of the collective agreement) must be provided.
