Full-Time Joiner/Cabinet Maker
Pay Grade 11 - Job #1130 - $33.88
The workload for this position is eight (8) hours per day, being forty (40) hours per week, twelve (12) months of the year and may include shift work.  

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations or designate, this position will construct, repair and install a variety of cabinets and furniture.  This position will from time to time involve general carpentry work.  This position may be required to start work at various project locations.

Applicants must have:
-completed Grade 12;
-B.C. T.Q., or Interprovincial Trade Certificate in the joiner/millwork trade with commercial/institutional construction/ maintenance experience;
-demonstrated training and work experience in current BC construction/maintenance safety requirements and WCB Regulation relating to the trade and industry;
-proven ability to interpret and create plans, sketches and specs as they relate to trade area;
-completed the required Health & Safety training.

-capable of completing all associated documentation;

-able to climb ladders and work at heights.

The following would be considered an asset:
-two (2) years experience at a journeyman level;
-Fall Protection Certificate/training;
-Scaffold Erection Certificate/training;
-First Aid Level 2 Certificate.
