Benefits Coordinator
Benefits Department, Superintendent’s Office

The Superintendent’s Office, Catholic Independent Schools Vancouver Archdiocese, is seeking a full-time Benefits Coordinator for the Benefits Department.

The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Manage multiple deadlines with proven time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specializing in Outlook, Access and Excel
  • Superior organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in data entry
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a group pension/benefits environment
  • Knowledge of general accounting practices
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of personal and organizational data
  • Clear understanding of roles and business protocols
  • Ability to work independently in a small, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage and resolve discrepancies

 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work under the direction and supervision of the Benefits Administrator
  • Understand the CISVA Benefits plan and Registered Pension plan
  • Assist with enrollment, processing and record-keeping
  • Communicate/respond to member enquiries related to Benefits plan
  • Maintain accurate filing of both electronic and paper personnel files
  • Coordinate daily benefits processing, including enrolment of new members
  • Maintain group benefits database
  • Coordinate/distribute information to Benefits program members
  • Work as a team member
  • Coordinate Benefits workshops
  • Assist with general office duties within the CISVA Department

 

Working Environment:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
