Building Service Worker Training Course
The Richmond School District is offering a Building Service Working training course for applicants who currently do not hold a Building Service Workers’ Certificate, which will provide successful candidates with the working knowledge to qualify as a casual (on-call) Building Service Worker with the Richmond School District.
Successful applicants accepted into the training program will have:
Grade 10 or equivalent education and;
Some relevant cleaning experience
Upon successful completion, you will have the opportunity to work at a variety of the district's schools and facilities on a casual basis. Substitute building service workers at the District provide coverage for short-term leaves and provide additional support during special projects.
The course will run over a period of 7 days (July 23 to July 31) and trainees will be paid a training wage of $15.00/hr. This training course is Richmond specific and may not be recognized elsewhere.
Applications must include the contact information of at least two past supervisors as professional references.
We thank the interest of all applicants. Only those selected for interviews will be contacted.
