Position:

Secondary Teacher On-Call

Initial Assignment:

Teacher Teaching On-Call

FTE:

1.0 FTE Continuing (0.5714 Resource Teacher to June 30, 2019)

Location:

Correlieu Secondary School

Effective Dates:

Commencing as soon as possible and continuing

Basic Qualifications:                                     The successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member

                                                                           in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch AND

                                                                           possesses one or more of the following:

Training Specialization:

  • Secondary Education with a major/minor in Special Education.

Related Teaching Experience:

  • Recent successful experience as a Secondary School Teacher
  • Demonstrated successful experience as a School Based Teacher Resource/Learning Assistant at the secondary level

A Reasonable Expectation:

based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff
