The Ministry of Education is currently undertaking a quality and regulatory review of BC Offshore school program operations in South Korea to ensure all schools are in full compliance. It is expected this review will be completed by June 30, 2017.

School Description:

Located in South Korea, BIS Canada is K-12 certified by the British Columbia Global Education Program to offer education programs leading to B.C. Certificates of Graduation. We are a small but vibrant community in Bundang, just southeast of Seoul. We’re looking for visionary teachers who will make a difference in the lives of our students. We currently have openings for the following teaching positions:

Positions: Secondary Art Teacher (8-12); Elementary Arts Education (1-7)

Qualifications: valid or eligible for BC teacher certification; previous experience as an art teacher preferred; background in drama preferred for secondary (not required)

Duration: one year contract: August 1, 2017 to July 31, 2018 (arrival prior to August 21)

Job Descriptionteach Art (BC curriculum); some extra-curricular involvement is expected.
