St. Francis of Assisi School is looking for a Learning Support Coordinator to cover for a maternity leave in the school year 2021-2022. This is a one-year full-time position. The successful applicant will be responsible for the planning and supervision of Individual Education Plans, chair school-based team meetings with staff and different specialists, maintain student files, plan and supervise the schedules and work of education assistants. The applicant will be able to provide support to children with learning and behavioural challenges. Good organization and communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines are definitely great assets. The applicant is expected to perform other duties as assigned, including some extra-curricular sports. Start date: September 1, 2021.
