St. James and St. Ann's School in Abbotsford is seeking to hire a dynamic and faith-filled teacher for a full-time, short-term maternity leaveposition in Kindergarten. The position is from May 11 to June 30, 2020, with the opportunity to extend for the 2020-2021 school year. Candidates should have experience with early literacy/numeracy skills, the ability to adapt or modify activities for a variety of learners, a good understanding of the BC curriculum and a strong foundation in the Catholic faith. In addition, candidates should have a desire to extend the boundaries of the classroom and take learning outside into the natural surroundings of the school, as this is an Outdoor Kindergarten program. The ability to assist with extra-curricular activities, such as coaching volleyball and basketball, is an asset.
