Job Description & Requirements
 
* 1.0 FTE Psychologist
 
* This temporary position will end as noted above or upon return of the incumbent
 
The successful candidate will have:
* Master's Degree in School Psychology or a related field
* Eligibility for membership in the B.C. Association of School Psychologists
* Training and recent experience in the administration, scoring and interpretation of Level C tests K-12 (examples: clinical tests of mental ability, behavioural rating scales)
* Knowledge and skills in identification procedures and program planning for developmental disorders
* Skills and ability to provide teacher in-service regarding learning and developmental disorders
* Ability to develop research-based intervention strategies for implementation by district staff and school based teams
* Knowledge of instructional strategies and interventions
* Consultative skills for working with parents, teachers, and school based teams regarding students at risk
* Ability to work as part of both district and school teams

  • Copy of official university transcripts.
